Home Quarantine Fever

Who would not love to travel for days enjoying the bliss and the company of your dearest ones and the people you just met? A dinner out in your favorite restaurant or a quick dine at the fast food. A dip in the waves of the sea or an adventure in a treacherous mountain. Yet the new norm might as well make you think going out is like a gamble for not only you are at risk but everyone you meet in everyplace you go.

While some of us thought this way, others are bothered on this pandemic’s new norm. How can we survive if we don’t have a job? Travel industry, tourism, automotive and all non essential businesses have been closed. And even those who are working abroad and in cruise ships lost their jobs due to this pandemic. Some may have started to build a house and now bothered on how to finish it. Some may have a growing family and now bothered on how to feed them. Everyday might be a struggle to us not to know how and when will this end.

Still, it’s a lot worse for those people who lost their lives battling this disease. And for those who are infected and fighting for their lives right at this very moment. Lot of us may have not realized the funereal of the situation. You don’t even know when someone dies, you won’t even see them, hug them, and mourn their death but only see them as an urn. Wouldn’t be a lot of pain?

I’m sure every expert is now trying their very best to develop a cure – the vaccine. But it’s way more than that. It’s not likely that they can make it in a year or two. We hope they can. The question is how much would it cost? If they could make it, would it be free for everybody?

So always be grateful in every small little thing. In so many ways, always be thankful for God has showered more grace than you could even think of or imagined. I believe there are reasons for all of these. And I believe we can make it through for I claim it in Jesus name.

Aside from staying at home to flatten the curve, we should pray harder and ask His mercy and grace. Jesus said,

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Matthew 6:33-34 NIV

My new normal thoughts as well. I hope you don’t mind me sharing. Xoxo
